Dawson Ross

I live on a hobby farm hidden away in Ontario, Canada, where apart from photography I spend much of my time woodworking, landscaping, wandering through forests, digital painting, animating and being disconnected from the developed world.

My photographic interests are almost exclusively set on nature and animals but sometimes expanding to old

artifacts and structures I may find on my wanderings. You will find no humans featured in my photo gallery, as I've found I prefer the company of grouse and grass. The images here were nearly all taken on my family's farm; some on the adjacent property that was once the same land.

My collection of photographs has nearly reached 16,000, though not all were meant to be hung on an empty wall.

I also dabble in an innovative merging of math and photography, the results of which can viewed by following the link below
